Hay bale trick for faster gaming

For faster harvesting, plowing and seeding, box your farmer with hay bales. This will keep your farmer from moving. You’ll save loads of time as your order will be carried out immediately. Your friends/neighbours will thank you too, as they don’t have to wait for your farmer to walk slowly across the huge 26×26 Grand Plantation every time they drop by to fertilize your crops or feeding your chickens.

To box your farmer, you’ll need to determine the default location of where your farmer stand when you load the game (the exact center of your farm). You will need to make sure that the area is clear of any obstacles such as buildings, and other stuff. Then, head into the Market, click on Decorations, and buy the default hay bales (priced at 100 coins). Place them in a relative box around your farmer. Do a simple test by ordering your farmer to walk somewhere; if he can’t, you’re good to go!

Do keep in mind that the center point change every time you upgrade to a bigger farm. So don’t be alarm if you find your farmer not in your box area, you’ll definitely find him standing at the new center point, so box him at this new area instead.
